My daughter completed Level 1 of the Barton program – now I need to sell it to buy Level 2! Smile

I bought Level 1 used from Evelyn Smith (the “authorized” re-seller of Barton program).  The box is in very good condition; the tiles are all there (15 total, 3 each of 5 colors); the teacher’s manual is in very good condition; the DVDs are in very good condition and in their case; the games are still shrink-wrapped.

Please pm me- I can email pictures if you’d like.

No, I’m sorry!  I read the original post and then realized that it was mine!  ?

I will tell you that we’re at Level 4, Lesson 2 now and find that the Barton program is working so well for us.   We bought a tablet specifically so we could buy and use the app instead of the tiles and we LOVE the app. (The app only replaces the tiles, nothing else.)

So I encourage you to seek one out.  I am convinced that even having to pay full price is so worth it.

Have you checked with Evelyn Smith yet?  I can get her contact info, if you need it.  Be wary of buying from you don’t know – just to be sure you get the actual, real-deal Barton program.

Thank you Karen!  I have a brand new box of Logic of English that I had thought we’d use next year (grade 4, we’ve finished vol 1-3 of AAR) but our tester STRONGLY suggest we start Barton right away.  I tested both my boys to make sure they were ready to start vol 1 of Barton and one didn’t actually pass.  I’m struggling now to figure out if he REALLY needs to do the Lindamood Bell program first or if he was close enough to be able to just start with Barton.  Sigh.

I saw Evelyn’s email on the Barton site so I can ask her what is available.  Thanks for the tip on the app.  I was wondering if that worked well.

In 10 months you have completed levels 2, 3 and started 4?  That sounds great.  Do you do it daily?  How much time do you think you spend on it a day/week?

    Thanks so much!

We aim to get 30 – 45 minutes per day, 5 days per week.  This summer we’ve not been as good at getting our time in (2 weeks off in a row here and there).

I want to slow it down a bit for Level 4, just to make perfectly sure she’s getting everything absolutely perfect…..and I want to focus on fluency, so I expect Level 4 to take us a year or more to do.
