If there are 180 lessons in the module how do you fit everything in a 180-day year with field trips, sick days, etc?  Do you carry it over to the next year?

You have freedom to do what works best. You could carry a few lessons over; you could combine a couple of shorter, lighter lessons; you could go ahead and do a lesson on the same day as a short field trip.

The lesson plans are suggestions, so view them as your servant, not your master.

OK, thanks!  I wondered if I might be able to double up on lessons if needed.  Thanks so much!  I guess you can tell I’m new to all of this, including homeschooling. Smile

BTW, Sonya, I recently discovered you know my friends Josh and Jennifer of Proskuneo.  I studied music with them.  Precious people!

I will plan to see you at the curr. fair in Chattanooga!  Thanks for all you do!  Your workshops are what introduced me to CM methods, and I am so grateful for your resources to help us teach our children the CM way.

How wonderful! Yes, Josh and Jen are precious friends. Please be sure to stop by in Chattanooga; I’d love to meet you in person!
