I’ve had a Kindle Fire since this past Christmas, but finally got around to setting up free accounts for the kids with FreeTime — I really like how I can hand pick games/apps/books for each of them with that. So now of course it is a big treat to get to use it. 😉 There have been many threads about ipad apps, but does anyone have any excellent android apps? My preference would be things from the Amazon app store because of the ability to link it to multiple devices, but even if it’s only on GooglePlay, I’d still love to hear.
I know the Stack the States (finally!) came out for Android. My kids have only played the free version — I know it’s fun but I’m not sure how much they are really learning. lol Anyway… comments? Thanks!

Anyone have some favorites to share? 🙂
sherazParticipantJust crickets chirping, eh?? I hear screaming cicadas! No app suggestions, just liked your silence description.
vikingkirkenParticipantCheck out the iPad threads, a lot of the same games are available for Android 😉
DesParticipantMy boys like AB math for math fact practice, Geometry, Landforms, fruit ninja and angry birds, fighter verses is also available on Kindle
MichelleParticipantWhat age are your children? I have some apps but all my kids are little. We have phonics and spanish apps. Kids ABC Phonics and Kids Learn to Read. My daughter loves Spanish Flash Cards and Duolingo would be good for readers (I have to.help her with that one.) My 2 year old loves ABC Phonics.
