So far i n FMoG, we’ve read about Hercules. I’m glad this has given my kids an idea of who he is so they will understand when they happen to hear references to that character.  But the way the stories are laid out in this book seem to jump from one scene to the next without any followable sequence (hope that makes sense).  Also, every paragraph introduces a new, unknown (to us) mythological character.  There is a lot of killing going on too.

In the end, we mirror what we’ve read with what we know to be true in the Bible and disprove what the myths are saying.  These conversations are precious!

I do hope FMoG gets better?

Yes, soon it will get into the actual men who lived in Ancient Greece. Of course, it will at times show how they interpreted events in light of their mythological beliefs, so you can look forward to more precious conversations.
