This does not include literature or the analysis of it.  The HS levels really don’t have any grammar.  (I was disappointed on this one, particularly because I asked about it and wanted it.  I was told that it WAS there.)

For the writing, it starts w/ sentences and has the dc writing/finding several for each lesson – complex ones.  They do that for several and then goes into paragraphs.  We didn’t get too far.  My ds was frustrated trying to come up w/ the sentences and didn’t quite understand the concept to find them in his reading.  I felt it was just busywork.

Now, I am using some parts of it.  I have found that the forms are helpful for my boys and I am using the video for the forms and the particular type of writing as it comes up.  So, you could easily do this w/ just 2 of the HS levels.  Between the 2, it would cover all the types of writing they would need to do, w/ some overlap.  Thankfully it’s not too expensive so it’s not as hard to swallow.  😉
