I just came across this website that looks quite interesting – Kids Discover.
Here is a helpful info. graphic about the electoral collage. http://www.kidsdiscover.com/blog/parentresources/infographic-electoral-college-for-kids/
missceegeeParticipantElectoral CollEge, I meant. I typed it wrong twice. Not sure where my brain was earlier.
artcmomto3ParticipantTFS! Our co-op offers a class on government and elections this semester. Passing along this info to the teacher.
momto2blessingsParticipantAwesome link. Thanks for sharing!
blue jParticipantNote that Maine and Nebraska split their electoral votes, though depending upon the depth of coverage and the age of the students, this may be more information than they need at this time.
MonicaParticipantThe electoral college is quite a collage, though. 🙂
Thanks for that great link!
missceegeeParticipantHere is another link about the election and the electoral college that may be helpful. It is from God’s World News.

LDIMomParticipantWe got a FREE map from C-Span last year. It is HUGE. Really large, but it is a great tool. It takes several weeks so too late for this year maybe, but they do have a smaller PDF version available for download. I would recommend still you sign up to receive the large map. Well worth the wait. They will send you emails occasionally about things available on-line but I just read and delete/use as it fits or doesn’t.

We have the map hanging up temporarily since the election season is upon us. The kids seem to really understand better from seeing this map. It is available to homeschoolers. I also got a presidential timeline map from C-Span a couple of years ago. It is an amazing resources as well showing the career path of each president incl. their time in state offices, US Congress and/or other govt. offices before their time in the White House. I don’t think it is available any longer.
blue jParticipantThanks for the God’s World & C-SPAN links! These will go perfectly with the class I’m leading this month for Enrichment.
