Hi!  I would like to teach my children together next year for history.  Their ages will be 7, 9, 11, 13, and possibly the 15 and 17 year olds.  Our homeschool coop is using SOTW Vol. 3 and Usborne Last 500 Years to teach history once a week with daily lessons at home (for our youngest two children, the others do not do history at coop.)  How closely does the Early Modern history guide sold by SCM line up with the weekly guides in SOTW?  I don’t care for SOTW, and appreicate how your history guides include things to beef up the curriculum for older students.  I’m not very familiar with SOTW or the Early Modern history guide, so any advice on how to combine the two, or to accomplish the goal of teaching the children together would be much appreciated.
