    Hello,

Just thought I’d chime in a few other resources for anger management. I, too, find the Duggars a wonderful source of encouragement.  I have a CD from Terri Maxwell (www.titus2.com) on Anger and it’s wonderful. In it, she and her husband, Steve, mention teachings of SM Davis on anger (I have his 100 Sermons MP3).  I do believe that the Duggars have been influenced by him as well.  I know one thing that Terri says is recognizing those other “words” we use…we’re “irritated” or “upset”, when the truth is that it’s anger.  The Bible says we are to put it away.  They liken it to an absolutely terrible thing that you wouldn’t have laying around in your home that could harm your children, like a sharp knife left out or a gun.  That’s how we have to see eliminating anger, for the damage it truly does.  One thing that I found convicting was when she suggested imagining a mirror on your child’s forehead.  What would your face look like while reprimanding?  That was a tough one!

I’m pretty sure that you can purchase a single CD from SM Davis for just a few dollars, and the Anger CD from the Maxwell’s is pretty reasonable as well.

Hope this helps others as they have helped me grow!  🙂

    Blessings,

    Lisa

I am exited for them but also hope they have sought sound medical advice. I fear that they will put another child through what josie went through. I have heard that pre-eclampsia is independent for each pregnancy. Is that right? Anyway, just amazed and I have to admit a bit jealous!
