Help! I recently purchased some ebooks to download. I want to read them from my computer. I cannot open them. Under my downloads section they are listed as iTunes Music Player. I feel so dumb right now. And frustrated. And just about in tears. Why is technology so difficult? (at least to me.) Can someone tell me what I should do???
curlywhirlyParticipantIf you don’t have iTuns Music player on your computer you can download it here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/ Then you should be able to open the books. 😉
JenniferMParticipantI have iTunes Music player on my computer, but I don’t have an iPad. Someone is giving me one soon. I was under the impression that I would be able to read the books on my computer until I transferred them to the iPad. The books are in iTunes (or maybe only the covers?) but will not open. I am very confused. But thank you for your help, curlywhirly.
Tecrz1ParticipantBooks purchased with iTunes are meant to be read with the iBooks app which is only available for iPad iPhone and iPod touch. You cannot read them on a computer because it cannot read that type of file. I would wait for the iPad and then get the iBooks app to read them. Sorry for your frustration!

JenniferMParticipantJust in case anyone else ever encounters this problem:
1st I downloaded Firefox by Mozilla
2nd I added on EPUBReader (googled it)
3rd went to each file after I unzipped it to open individual books onto the EPUBReader.
It is working just like I wanted now!
