Doug I'm confused?

    Doug when I am loged in I can see my post on Pregnancy Fun that I replied with the link to the site I was using.  But when I am NOT logged in.. I don’t see it?  Why is that? 

    So when I am NOT logged in it says only 3 replies under pregnancy fun and I am not in there the 3rd time.  When I AM logged in it says 4 and there’s my post?  Just confused.  Did I do something wrong?  Misty

    It got caught in our spam filter. I have released it.

    I had the same problem with a post on toddler stuff the other day.  Should we contact you when that happens or do you check it regularly so see if stuff got “caught”?

    Sorry for the inconvenience when your posts get trapped. Hopefully it doesn’t happen often so it’s a good tradeoff for keeping out the tons of spam attempts we see every day.

    Please do let us know when you have a post go missing. I check it only now and then or when someone lets me know there is a problem. I’ll see it the fastest if you use our http://simplycharlottemason.com/contact form.

    Just so you know, the anti-spam software looks for certain words and patterns that are common with spam. In this case there was a certain word that would be a spam indicator used in another context, if you know what I mean. It also tends to flag anything with more than a couple links. So it’s probably worth checking to see if your post made it if it contains those kinds of things.

    You still see your own trapped posts when logged in, which is done to not let the spammers know that we’ve caught them. We wouldn’t want them to try harder. 🙂
