When is something a craft and when it something art? I sometimes have trouble separating this out in my mind. I guess I feel that a handicraft would produce something usable? Is that a good definition? February 1, 2011 at 5:13 pm LinabeanParticipantWell, that’s how I have always defined it. Although I also hold the belief that even practical, usable, ordinary things that are made by hand are also an “art”. On SCM’s Handicrafts and Life Skills list, some could clearly be defined as Art.http://simplycharlottemason.com/timesavers/handicrafts/Viewing 3 posts - 1 through 3 (of 3 total)The topic ‘Difference between handicraft and art project?’ is closed to new replies.
