I’m working on a book about homeschool, and I’m wondering if Charlotte Mason talked about courses of a meal. I’m working on a part that talks about how curriculum isn’t a stack of books, but the course or path you take. So one definition of course is as part of a meal (like 7 course meal). So I thought of “spreading the feast” and wondered if she said anything about courses of a meal. I’ve read quite a bit of her series, but I don’t remember. Thanks!

Nothing like that is coming to mind right now. Her “spreading the feast” comparison was an illustration that emphasized presenting quality ideas and allowing each small guest to take what he is ready for. But I don’t recall any mention of meal courses.
