My oldest boy is 11 1/2 and likes to have his own devotions in the morning (and sometimes in the evening) that are private and is almost finished with his current book. Any suggestions for him??  I saw on the curriculum guide the Making Friends out of Brother and Sisters, but wasn’t sure that that was for him or if that is more of a family read.

As a family we are reading the Miller series, but he likes to have a separate devotional book (coupled with Bible readings) for himself:)

    Thanks in advance.

My daughter enjoyed the Building on the Rock series and the YWAM missionary biographies. We are about to begin one of Kay Arthur’s Discover 4 Yourself series.

Those are a few ideas to get you started.

What about Boyhood and Beyond or Created for Work by Bob Shultz? I think they have discussion questions in them and he’s at the right age. My children did the Building…Rock Series, too. I don’t know if yours is too old for that or not; mine are 9 and reading them, and they are good.
