Can you print an entire week? I went in and scheduled all my information but it doesn’t print everything for the week? Can I print a Mon – Fri in one shot?

    Looking for help.

    Thanks

No, Misty, not at the moment. I don’t know if they’ll figure out a way to keep all the flexibility while doing that, but at the moment, all you have for sure is today. Tomorrow will depend on what you get done today, the day after that on what you get done tomorrow, etc. I thought at first I wouldn’t like it, but now that I’m used to it I never ever want to go back to a week of plans staring at me taunting me to finish them all. 🙂 I always secretly felt like they were laughing at me when I did not get them done. <giggle>

I’ve found this very freeing. I see where I’m supposed to go today. If I don’t get one part done, I’ll do it tomorrow, or later in the week-it’ll pop right up for me, and I won’t forget it.

I do keep up a basic outline of my plan for the week, so I know, for instance, that we will be doing science on Tuesday and Thursday. If we don’t get to the chapter or don’t finish chapter 3 on Tuesday, then it’ll still be there for us on Thursday. If the schedule read “Chapter 4” for Thursday, then I’d either have to go in and change it (sigh) or try to “cram” it in somewhere so we won’t get “off schedule” (I once, no kidding, made my kids do dictation in the car on the way to my grandmother’s funeral, just to keep from getting “off schedule” and having to go into the computer and bump my lesson plans around)

One tip that has worked for me–let’s say, for example, we have Chapter 3 of the science book on Tuesday. We finish it, and I take a brief glance ahead to the next chapter, which we ought to get to on Tuesday, and see if there are any supplies or definitions or whatever we will need, and put a sticky somewhere (whoever invented those little sticky notes is high on my list of favorite people!) So you can still always have an idea of where you are headed, with “grace” built into the plan in case you don’t quite make it. 🙂

Thanks Bookworm, that makes sense now. I get it.. And you are right I have a master of what to do and what days this will just keep it all in one spot and be easy to add and edit.
