Well, I’ve been all around the neighborhood, and circled back.  😂 We did SCM’s Egypt book, switched to MOH 1 because I wanted to speed through the ancients.  We ended up spending 2 more years on it anyway (and probably didn’t enjoy it as much).  🙄 Then we did SCM for Middle Ages and Early Modern.  I switched to the Alveary for a year, and Memoria Press for another year or two.  We did a semester of Biblioplan somewhere in that mess, and I’d dabbled with Beautiful Feet along the way.  😊

We are actually back to cover SCM’s Modern Times before my oldest graduates.  She has complained that we never cover modern history, so here we are.  I was getting very overwhelmed with all the moving parts of the Alveary and Memoria Press with 5 kids.  It turned me into a very anxious, stressed mom with terrible brain fog everyday.  There are things I liked about the other curriculums and things I didn’t like.  However, I do like the mom I am when teaching SCM.  After a month of a Memoria Press to start this year, I have recently  thrown in the towel and switched to the SCM’s Keep It Simple plans…fortunately I had kept all my SCM materials, so I didn’t have too much to order.  We are on day 3 of our new plans, and I feel like a new person!
