My apologies if I am beating a dead horse here; I am just trying to understand and apply. Can you finish a resource without having marked all assignments complete? I thought you could but as I am experimenting more, I am not finding that to be an option. Thanks again.
suzukimomParticipantNo you can’t. The complete resource only comes up when you mark the last assignment as complete
sherazParticipantYou can always edit your resource and “un-schedule” those assignments you don’t need to finish.
If you do that, when you click on the last assignment you scheduled/finished, it will mark it as resource finished and remove it from your daily list.
When you print your records, it will show up there as being completed as assigned.
KathiParticipantHi, I’m new here. I had scheduled a book for my daughter to read a chapter a day. She got right into it and read the whole thing over the weekend. Am I correct in reading that I should just go to the chapters I assigned and un select all the ones in the middle and then just click the first and last as complete? Will the record show that she read the whole book? Or just a couple of chapters? Thanks!
suzukimomParticipantNo, it would just show the first and last chapter.
You can either just click every chapter as complete, or make a copy of the resource with no divisions, schedule it, then mark it finished.
KathiParticipantOk, thank you Suzukimom! I didn’t realize I could copy the resource! That sounds like the way to go.
