Any suggestions for a CM type High School Science (besides Apologia)? We did the Apologia Physical Science and my daughter was bored to tears (literally). She has always enjoyed her nature studies, but she will be in 9th grade next year. She is required to take the Stanford Test each Spring, so that is a consideration, also. Thank you, Jamie

suzukimomParticipantHere is an earlier discussion – don’t know if it helps… http://simplycharlottemason.com/scmforum/topic/highschool-science-other-than-apologia
PollyParticipantHeart of Dakota will be doing science without Apologia. Here is a sneak peak for chemistry.

jeaninpaParticipantThanks, checking these out.
Alana AdamsParticipantQueen Homeschool Supply has full-year Biology and Chemistry books in the Discovering Nature Series.
(I tried to copy and paste that on my phone, but I’m not sure if it worked.)
We have used the biology book, and while the storyline and research is more of a marine biology study, it IS interesting. It is NOT a textbook, however, with all the info you need contained between 2 covers. Each lesson is a chapter from a story followed by research. Access to a good library or the Internet is a must.
