Hi I am in my last and seasoned year as a homeschool parents. My daughter is 15 and in 9th grade. We live in Dickson out in the sticks and there seems to be ZERO support or activities out here. She is dying for fellowship.

Does anyone have anything going on for high school kids?

she is super artistic, musical, quirky, has dreadlocks and reads like all good books will be banned tomorrow and needs fellowship. In the spring she will be taking theater performance classes at Act Too in Franklin. And she takes 2 classes online through Landry Academy

My teaching style isnt 100% because I cant measure up,but thats the foundational theory behind how we teach and live.

we would love to meet some older seasoned CM’ers!

Please let me know if you know anything. Thanks!-Chenoa (chenoa007@gmail.com)

Hi there! I just wanted to mention that you might try a forum like Mom’s Heart (through Sally Clarkson’s website). I know of several people who have been able to connect with like-minded homeschoolers through that site. Or do you possibly have any homeschool co-ops in a metropolitan area nearby? They may have some suggestions for how to get in touch with people closer to you. Blessings!
