Does anyone know which Homeschool Magazines are or lean toward the Charlotte Mason method? I don’t want to read about lots of unit studies or this or that curriculum. I would like one that encourages the CM method throughout each issue as much as possible. Any suggestions????
Thanks, Brenda
gr8tfulCMmomParticipantIt’s not a magazine, but it’s a fantastic CM blog!! I believe they have a quarterly “review” publication they put out.
missceegeeParticipantHomeschooling Today is terrific!
teachermomParticipantHome Educating Family is very good. Several issues I’ve seen online (and one in print) have CM or could apply to CM articles, but I’ve only just started a subscription. Linda Fay (CharlotteMasonHelp.com) has written for this magazine. The publisher (wife) is the daughter of Robin Sampson (Heart of Wisdom)—-just a neat side note .
The Old Schoolhouse magazine has CM themed issues from time to time, if you want to look for back issues online.

MeganParticipantI agree…Homeschooling Today is great! It played a big part in my decision to homeschool and I first heard of SCM through a little article they had. They even have a calendar with ideas for living books, crafts, poetry, and picture study in every issue. Love it!

thehauserfamilyMemberI second Home Educating Family. It is great and a big reason I went back to look at CM methods.
