Chemistry labs without breaking the bank

I will more than likely use BJU chemistry next year for my daughter.  But the lab kit is $263, teacher lab manual $35 and student lab manual $30.  How have you guys done chemistry labs?  I want her to physically do some in case she goes into science field (probably won’t but rather be safe than sorry).  Has anyone used BJU chemistry labs?  Just wondering if there is a different lab (cheaper) that I could use.
