    Has anyone ever set up a small business to run small group classes for enrichment studies in their community? I’m considering working with my city to run these classes and events to promote CM homeschooling and build a community of families interested in the CM approach.

    I’m wondering if anyone has experience with homeschooling sole proprietorship or working as an independent contractor with their city.

    I am a part of a homeschool co-op with a few other families and the Mom’s would rotate teaching. After a while I was interested in taking on the teaching and the other Moms were happy to have me take it on. I’ve started implementing CM methods into what we are doing. We did picture study and composer study recently.

     

    Perhaps starting a co op would be a good place to start, or would help you to know if other families are interested in your area?
