I have Ann Voscamp’s A Child’s Geography.  I really like it.  We are using Friday’s as a geography day (I don’t know how CM that is but that’s what we are doing).  I am spreading ACG lesson’s over 2-3 weeks.  I’d like to incorporate missions into it along with specific country studies.  We are using Heart of Dakota’s Preparing this year which is an overview of world history with my own tweaking.  I would love to hear other’s ideas on what I can do in a CM way.  I am thinking of adding in Window on the World, Missionary Stories with the Millers or Heaven’s Hero’s.  I also looked at Galloping the Globe.  I have a limited budget though.

I love ACG too- love it! I am planning on using it this year along with our SCM studies for Africa etc. I wanted the kids to have a good overview of World Geography and her book is good. I also have Charlotte Mason’s original geography book which I am going to read to them while we are fishing. Other than that I am going with Sonyas suggestions of map drills once a week correllating to the area of the world you are studying in history.
