  • I want to put up a bulletin board type display in my play room. Anyone have any pictures of one they have done? Or have any ideas for me? I’m lost in this area. I want a place to display the 10 commandments, special artwork the kids make, a calendar maybe, etc.

I use Mavalus Tape to hang things wherever I want them w/o a board. The kids each have 2′ x 3′ cork boards on which they hang whatever they like.

I just bought a large 4′ x 6′ magnetic whiteboard for my school room beside which we have rotating posters. The remainder of my wall space is 4 large bookshelves, 1 wall of windows and 1 wall of sliding pocket doors. If I want other things to hang, we do it in their rooms or in the play attic.

I want to get some butcher paper and have a nice little fun bulletin board design. I’m not worried about the “board” factor so much as I am the design factor. I want a fun organized wall to them to have in the play room.

In the past I have sprayed painted bulletin boards in lively colors and then put them on the wall to put up whatever we want to put up, artwork, memory work, pictures that they have taken. It is an easy way to add a splash of color on your walls without it being a permenant thing.

    Blessings,
