I am looking for additional book suggestions to go with Visits to the Middle East. Some of the books in the curriculum are not at my local library and are rather pricy to purchase. Thanks!

    What age range?

Well, my oldest is 7. But I think what is usually recommend for that age is not challenging enough. For some perspective he read the entire Harry Potter series himself in the last few month.

Pardon the typos! I should know better than to type with a baby on my lap.

You would be amazed at the typos I have come up with! 😄 My phone has given up on even trying to correct them at this point.

My son recently read “The Breadwinner” and liked it. It’s about a girl who has to disguise herself as a boy after her dad is arrested. The family lives in Afghanistan, if I remember correctly.

With a quick thumb through, this looks like a winner. Thanks!

We have enjoyed Pilgrimage to the Holy Lands by Elizabeth Wagler twice now.  I think it’s OOP, but I’m sure you can find used copies online still.
