    I am looking for some biography’s on good christians that play sports professionally.  I would like them for my son who is 14yrs and a good reader.  We are doing a little PE class and I would like to find about 4 bio’s on men or women who are professional sports players and still hold true to their christian faith.  Suggestions would be great.  Thanks

    HI Misty:

    Tim Tebow comes to mind first – a pro football player who is an unabashed Christian (and publicly proclaims he is saving sex for marriage)

    While this is not a bio, but a DVD, perhaps this might be a good supplement, too: http://www.amazon.com/Champions-Faith-DVD-Baseball-Edition/dp/0979236304 (You might also be able to find bios on these players)

    Also, “Kaka is a famous Brazilian christian soccer player who as of 2010 is still part of the Brazilian world cup team and also plays for Real Madrid. He is a devout evangelical christian and talks about his faith a lot.”

    These are just links to pages with stories. But you could research the names of the players further to find more. Maybe you could just cut and paste into a doc and print them for him to read.

    Thanks those links were great.  I also requested the DVD from the library and have some other names tha I recieved.  This will be a good, yet fun PE credit!  LOL
