I have the opportunity to purchase a used copy of Beyond Beautiful Girlhood with the companion guide. We have a copy of the first book, Beautiful Girlhood, but we didn’t get around to using it. I have a 16yo dd and an almost 14yo dd, and I would be using the materials with both of them.

I was wondering about the age levels you felt these volumes are best suited for, if you have used them. Also, would it be alright to use the “beyond” book without having read the first one? I could possibly use one for the younger girl and the other for the older one.

I am having a big struggle with disrespectful speech, facial gestures, choice of words/tone of voice with the older daughter, and I am hoping that having a character development book just for girls this year might help. We had been doing a more general book in previous years so we could all study together, including their brother, but since he is in a school now, I would like to do something just for girls.

Your input would be greatly appreciated.
