Has anyone used this U.S History and World History for high school?  I am considering it for my 14 year old-she loves to read and has difficulty with traditional programs.  If you have used this, could you post your thoughts and opinions on this.

    Thanks

Our dd is working through BF US & World.  I split it into two years for 11th and 12th grade.  She loves it.  Although this year, 12th grade, I’m combining BF with TruthQuest Age of Revolution III.  Most of the BF books are listed in the TQ guide.  This dd is an avid reader and we always end of supplementing.  I think BF is an awesome program and does not need supplementation, but that’s just the way we roll here 🙂

Please feel free to ask specific questions.  I have a few posts as well under the high school, history, and BF labels on our blog.

    Blessings,

    Melissa

We are using this BF Guide for my ds 15 this year, which is 10th grade for him. We will continue it next year, as they recommend treating it as a 2-year course. My ds is not a big reader, and I was worried about that, but it is going very well and he is enjoying it! I think the questions/activities are just right for him overall. Sometimes, it seems a bit light, but other times there are more challenging assignments, so it all works out. I really like the book selections, and have been able to find many of them either as free e-books or at my local library, so it makes the course very affordable. I would definitely recommend this course!
