    Hi everyone! I just wanted to announce that we had our little baby boy on April 19! He was 8 lbs, 21 inches long, and surprised us all by coming 3 weeks early!!! 🙂

    His name is Adam Michael Kenneth~

    So now that I am re-gaining some energy, perhaps I can finish off our school year?!?!

    That is early! I remember you telling us you were expecting. I had to look back because it seems like the time passed so quickly but it was 8 months ago! Congratulations! I pray that he will be a mighty man of valor for the Lord. Adam Michael Kenneth – what a beautiful name! Now go take a nap.

    P.S. You were concerned how things would go with hs’ing and being pregnant…do you have any reflections to share?

    Thank you! 😀 This brings our family to 3 girls and now 2 boys, in that order!

    Cindy- looking back, HSing and preg, I would stress less and facilitate more. Considering how many naps I took and things we DIDN’T do, we had an amazing school year! It was a actually a great learning experience for me!

    By facilitate I mean- have more things set up for them to do , and have guided or self directed learning in areas, vs trying to “teach” the subjects

    Those are good ideas, Christina; ones that can also be needed while baby needs so much of you and for any of us with small ones. I know that I would like to be better at having valuable things set aside for, especially the little ones, to do. I seem to always be saying, “No screens!” and “Go find some toys to play with.” 😐
