Uploading Pictures (was Avatars)

    Hey guys, I just wanted to start this so I didn’t take up someone else’s post.

    Heather, well I don’t have blondish red hair like my girls…they get that from their daddy. But as soon as I can take a picture I will change my Avatar. I am not very photogenic so I don’t like pics taken of me. 😕

    I would love to see a picture of all the women who post. I love reading from Bookworm, Michelle..since I can picture her saying what I am reading. And you also Heather. It is nice to put a name with a face. Thanks to all who have a pic. of themselves (even if it is for a short time).

    I agree with Shelly – I too would love to see pics of you all!

    I remember when Shanna posted a couple of threads titled “where do you live” and “how many and what ages”. How ’bout a picture sharing post?

    Doug, is there a way for us to have a thread where we can post family pictures & such -above and beyond the avatar? How would we go about it? Or is this too personal?

    Feel free to share pictures. We don’t really have a way for you to upload them here but you can still display them.

    To post a picture, use an img tag pointing to a picture hosted elsewhere, such as your blog, flickr, picasa, or photobucket.

    For example,

    <img src="http://simplycharlottemason.com/downloads/SCM-logos/SCM-logo-white-200.png" />

    Looks like this:

    I’m so sorry, Doug, I am not computer savy. I don’t have a blog and have no clue what a flickr, picasa or photobucket is. 😕 I do have photos in files on my desktop. Is there a way to drag these to here?

    Shelly, I see you have your new avatar up and running; Its so nice to finally see your face. You are just as beautiful as I imagined you to be and your girls are lovely. 🙂

    Okay, by popular demand I’ve added a new feature so you can upload pictures. There should now be some Choose File buttons and an Upload button below the post box you can use. There is a limit to the file size allowed for the pictures so you may need to trim them down before uploading.
