missceegeeParticipantWe have listened to so many great ones over the years, but our favorites are:
Sugar Creek Gang
Little Britches series (our #1)
Wonder
Peep Behind the Scenes (Lamplighter)
Emmy and the Incredible Shrinking Rat (I think this is the title)
Raquel GParticipantLove the suggestions above!
We used Adventures in Odyssey & bought them fairly inexpensively from Library & Ed
We also like Jonathan Park Adventures
I personally loved The Saturdays: Melendy Quartet by Elizabeth Enright (book 1) but my son didn’t seem to like it. He listened without much complaint because I insisted but I don’t think he overly enjoyed it. Your mileage may vary.
I also love Maestro Classics though I am not a fan of A Soldier’s Tale. We haven’t listened to them all (though we own all of them) but the ones we have listened to, we’ve enjoyed.
Wings2flyParticipantLittle House on the Prairie series is great for all ages from toddlers to grandparents. Great narration by Cherry Jones and some fiddle music too.
We have also enjoyed The Cricket in Times Square and the music added in.
psreitmomParticipantI know Lamplighter dramas have already been mentioned. Depending on the age of your children, some of them are intense. But, one that would be good for the whole family, and it is a favorite of ours, is Teddy’s Button.
Also, we have gotten several of the American Girl stories through Audible. My daughter likes to listen to those on her Kindle.
