I personally loved The Saturdays: Melendy Quartet by Elizabeth Enright (book 1) but my son didn’t seem to like it. He listened without much complaint because I insisted but I don’t think he overly enjoyed it. Your mileage may vary.
I also love Maestro Classics though I am not a fan of A Soldier’s Tale. We haven’t listened to them all (though we own all of them) but the ones we have listened to, we’ve enjoyed.
I know Lamplighter dramas have already been mentioned. Depending on the age of your children, some of them are intense. But, one that would be good for the whole family, and it is a favorite of ours, is Teddy’s Button.
Also, we have gotten several of the American Girl stories through Audible. My daughter likes to listen to those on her Kindle.
