    Thanks,

    Check Dover. http://www.doverpublications.com

Under subject ‘ART’ and large-format cards.

Another idea is to keep your eye open for small calenders of art subjects, in additon to the blarge ones, then you could laminate them.

And here are the postcard-size cards search results from Dover too.

Thanks for the link, Sonya.  I was wondering where you got the cards you used in your instruction of Art on your DVD.  They are cheap too!  Even better.  Do you have your kids share or do you buy two copies of the same cards?

I use those cards only for the seminars, so every attendee can have her own copy. For our personal picture study here at home, we use the big art books.

If you want to use those cards for your children, I would recommend you let each child have his or her own card.

We use the big print books or an online version for our picture study. Then I give each child their own 4×6 copy that I print and they put it into a slip in scrapbook with a few lines for labeling the picture with artist, title, date and what they like best. This is a cheap, but lovely record for them of their art studies. Oh, and they really like their books, too.
