Have any of you used this book with your kiddos? We are needing a new study and I thought this one looked like it would be a good one. If so what ages did you do it with?

I haven’t used it, but I thought I’d let you know that I believe they are from the Calvinist perspective; you may double check on that, it’s been awhile, but I think so.

I thought it relevant; and depending upon your persuasion, that may or may not matter.

We have it, and I really like it! I don’t see any specific ideology except Christian. It says for first thru sixth, but it is a very in depth study, IMO! I would say good for ages 9 and up! Possibly a mature 8yr old.

Here is a review for you! 😉

We use it as well.  I read/paraphrase to the kids and we do any activities together.  My youngest two have the accompanying coloring book to keep them occupied while we’re discussing.  My kids are 4-12.  Even my 4 year old is learning from it.  I have heard it is Calvinist, but this isn’t an issue for me.  So far, I have not encountered anything that would cause any controversy, but we are only on the second chapter.
