Anyone with daughters who might want a penpal in northern NY?

Hi everyone. We have two daughters, Morgan (almost 12) and Maddie (almost 9). I would love for them to have a penpal to write to from another area of the U.S. I thought this would be a good way to encourage writing, work on geography, etc. Let me know if you would be interested!

Hi, we live in way up Northern NY (town by the canadian border), my daughters are Tori (11 almost 12 in september) and Elizabeth (almost 9 in October), we could be near each other? Let me know how close you are to me, maybe they could write or if your Real close, get together??
I have a daughter Madison-almost 9 in July. She loves writing to people, so we would be interested. We live in IL near Chicago.

Madison is very excited! Her face just lit up with the prospect of it! This is such a great idea! I may even have my 5 yo Cali write a little note, too, so she can be involved. We will try to get a letter out this week or next.

Maybe we could exchange addresses as well. My DD are almost 9 and 5. It would be fun to have penpals from all over the country! Madison-9-already writes to her great-aunt in Texas and my cousin in Hawaii. She is interested in CO because her American Girl doll, Nicki, is from Colorado. Let me know.

My daughter is 13, we live in North Georgia. She has been involved in competition gymnastics for 5 years and has recently retired. So she is finding a lot more time on her hands. (She’s used to being in the gym 3-4 days a week, 4 hours each day!) When I mentioned this her face lit up! So I’d love to find a penpal too!

Hi , we live in Norfolk NY, right next to potsdam Ny which my husband said your town is an 1 and 1/2 from me! Isnt that funny! we go to watertown a few times a year to go school clothes shopping (our mall stinks most stores are closed) so my daughters would love to write and get to know each other. Ladies, this is so cool that your girls are going to write to one another, my son has pen pals in the UK! However, I don’t think it is wise to be sharing your children’s names, ages and addresses here on a public forum. You should probably private message each other and ask Doug to delete the posts with all the personal info, just to be on the safe side 😀

I went back and edited the posts with private information. Although we probably won’t stop anyone from posting personal details if they really want to, we highly recommend against it.
