Did not want to jump on the other post. Because I have not used any piano curriculum. Want to ask about this one. Thanks!!
DH wants sons to take piano lessons. My son has a little bit of SPD. He can get very upset when he does things wrong. I don’t want to have to put a instructor through this! Or me for that matter! 🙂 Thought a cd course would help me control that better. Plus, save on trips to and from, paying teacher, and no broken commitment.

I am also interested in reviews from people who have used this! In another post on group Christmas gifts that I had posted, someone had mentioned Piano Wizard as a possible gift for all the kiddos. I liked the look of it but it is always so helpful to know someone else who has had experience with something first hand. We can’t afford music lessons right now but we would really like to have the kids get some instruction in this area. I can’t read music, so I need something that is not at all teacher-intensive. We haven’t use Piano Wizard, but Children’s Music Journey and Piano Suite from Adventus are good. They are also software programs to be used on your computer with a midi keyboard.

We haven’t used it, but are getting it for Christmas – so hopefully we’ll have some reviews for you in a couple of weeks. That might be helpful if you’re not planning on getting it as a Christmas gift…

We are not getting it for Christmas. However, it is on my list to purchase after hearing some reviews!! It is very expensive..but trying to justify the cost vs. piano lessons!

Just a heads up that we received a contact from the company that makes this product asking us to take part in their affiliate program because they noticed the discussion here.
