Just a heads up that we received a contact from the company that makes this product asking us to take part in their affiliate program because they noticed the discussion here. They told us that they would create a buzz on our forum/blog and then have us send out a promotional e-mail “blast” to our list so we could make lots of money promoting their product.
I wanted you all to be aware of this because when a product is pushed hard through affiliate programs it can be very difficult to find honest reviews that aren’t influenced by potential profits. Please understand that I’m not saying all affiliate programs are bad or that there is anything wrong with this particular product. However, we are looking forward to hearing from some of you who actually try the product and can give unbiased feedback.
I’d like to also use this as another opportunity to say how much we appreciate all of you! We won’t be taking part in the affiliate offer because what we have here is a wonderful community and relationships with real people. To manipulate our forum messages for “buzz” or treat you as a list to be “blasted” would only dishonor the trust you’ve given us. It is our desire to always be a blessing to you in the things we do. You are certainly a blessing to us.
