Anyone used James stobaughs literature

When I refer to style, I just mean word choices. I get annoyed at the funny way IEW instructs the student to add adverbs here and there. I love how IEW teaches clincher sentences and the shape of an essay (formatting). It is easy to adapt. I wasn’t too keen on it, I must admit, until I went to an all day conference and finally could see how IEW’s incremental steps build upon each other to produce essay skills. I couldn’t get pass the keyword outlines.
