Anyone use Phonetic Zoo?

    I was just curious if anyone had used this program. I’m not planning on it this year; I’m going to continue what I’m doing w/Phonics Made Plain plus Spelling Wisdom. I’m just thinking ahead that if my son doesn’t get substantially stronger by age 11 then I am putting this on my “future” list as an option.

    We use it and we love it.  It’s very easy to use and it comes with a lecture about spelling and the brain, which I found to be very interesting.  My son really enjoys using it.  Hope this helps.

    I used it but my boys did not do well with it.  There is no real visual it is all audio.  That is fine if you have a good speller to begin with but with my boys that was not the case and they never did well.   We switched to Spelling Wisdom and they are doing a much better job and feeling like they are actually moving on.

    Just my experience.  Every child is different I know other families who love it and others who like us it didn’t work for.  Misty
