Has anyone used this for Spanish?  I’m looking for something for my 4th and 7th graders.

I have used what I think must be their French curriculum (Mission Monde I believe) and was underwhelmed. It has a lot about missionaries but little vocab building I thought. I would only consider it is we were doing missions overseas.

Hmm…that doesn’t sound too possitive.  Have you found anything that you do like?

So it’s been a little while and my dd has done two other French curricula since then, but my memory is that it wasn’t awful. It just had a funny emphasis. I don’t need her learning the words for missionary and lots of school related words. I wanted her learning more practical things like where’s the bathroom and conversational skills.

@ nebby, which other two curriculum have you tried? What did you like and why? My son wants to learn french next year. I can tell by a skim of catalogs that there aren’t nearly as many french resource as there are spanish.

We used Ecoutez Parlez which my dd liked at first but it is very workbook-y and after a while the exercises began to seem very repetitive. Finally we broke down and bought Rosetta Stone which we are still using.
