I’m finding that my children are having a hard time with Easy Grammar.  I think it’s time we review parts of speech and grammar.  I’ve looked at different grammar programs but so much of it is presented in the form of rules to learn and not in the context of writing.  In the past we’ve done Queen’s Language Lessons, English for the Thoughtful Child, and Primary Language Lessons.  We have not studied grammar in over a year.  Maybe this is why the children are so rusty.  Their ages are 14yod, and 12yo twin boys.

I came across the KISS Grammar website on Ambleside and wondered if anyone here has used it and what you think of it.  The fact that it is free and is written to the student is very appealing.  It looks like it has a bit of a learning curve to figure out the website.  Anybody here use it before?

    Many Thanks,

    Betty

I’ve not used it, but here is a blog from someone on this forum awhile back who has used it. So I thought I would link you to her blog:http://www.lovesschool.com/2009/03/kiss-grammar.html

    HTH,
