We have just started the Outdoor Secrets companion guide.  We really like it.  Will there be more of these in the works and for higher grades?

We are working on one for Jack’s Insects that will be designed for grades 4-6. Sounds like you read our minds. Smile

When you say working on…do you have an estimated time on that? I’m planning for next year and have found a whole in science that that would fill up!  Smile

I’ve created something similiar using Among the Farmyard People by Clara Dillingham Pierson, but it would be geared for K-2nd grade.  I’m currently testing it out on my 1st and 2nd grader, but plan to post it on my blog in the next couple of weeks.  I’ll let you know if you’re interested.  Blessings, Melissa http://reflectionsfromdrywoodcreek.blogspot.com/

The companion for Jack’s Insects is in the last stages of layout and proofing before going to the printer. Smile

Yay!  My older ds is really enjoying the Apologia flying creatures, younger ds, not so much.  I’m thinking a different approach to science is in order for younger ds.  I’m looking closely at Jack’s Insects and other living books on the list for him. Thanks for all the great work!
