I’ve created something similiar using Among the Farmyard People by Clara Dillingham Pierson, but it would be geared for K-2nd grade. I’m currently testing it out on my 1st and 2nd grader, but plan to post it on my blog in the next couple of weeks. I’ll let you know if you’re interested. this popped back into my head today and I was wondering….so I searched the forum and came here – spring or summer – hmmmm, the temps have been in the 90s lately
woo hoo! Thanks for satisfying my curiosity! Looking forward to it! And Doug, you got me on a technicality I guess, we do have 20 more days, but hey, I live in GA – Summer starts earlier here
Yay! My older ds is really enjoying the Apologia flying creatures, younger ds, not so much. I’m thinking a different approach to science is in order for younger ds. I’m looking closely at Jack’s Insects and other living books on the list for him. Thanks for all the great work!
