I’ve been collecting the books needed to do the Ancient Egypt history/geography/bible program. However, I’m learning that SSM materials seem to also have lists of additional library books needed that you don’t find out until you actually get the program materials. This is a big problem for me since I live outside the US and don’t have access to a library. I just got a kindle but our hometown library does not have online books. That means that I have to buy all books and have them brought here by plane. We can’t even have books shipped. This also means that I have to plan ahead and order what I need when I know someone is coming to visit. Sooo…
Can someone tell me what additional books are needed that are not listed on the website for the Ancient Egypt program?
Also I’m doing this with my 7 year old boy so if in that list there are any books that will be too advanced for him, and that I can just skip, I would so appreciate knowing that as well. I really don’t want to buy things that we can’t use. Thanks so much for any help with this!

If you download the sample of the Genesis Through Deuteronomy & Ancient Egypt lesson plans book, you will see a list of the books needed for the entire year. The books are listed as Family and by grade level. You would need the Family books and the books listed for grades 1-3.
