Alternative to Famous Men of the 16th and 17th C

    I am using the Early Modern History module with my 7th grader.  She is not only not enjoying the Famous Men of the 16th and 17th Century, but she isn’t learning much from it either.  Can anyone suggest a friendlier alternative to this world history selection?
