I have the All Day SCM Seminar and have been blessed by it. Can you all tell me the differences between the two? Does anyone have both?

    Thank you

Hi Cindie, I have both and have attended both in person. The Books & Things focuses on how to choose your materials – books & things – and how to use them. It discusses how many books Charlotte would use at different ages. It goes very well with the All Day SCM Seminar and is more nuts and bolts, I’d say. I particularly liked the portion of the seminar on ways to destroy your child’s love of learning.

Thank you for this.  Wow, that’s something I don’t want to do.

I also want to thank you for a post a while back.  You gave advice on homeschooling and recommended prayer first.  I’ve been spending the last month in prayer for God’s direction for the long term for us.  It was also nice to see someone else buy and sell things quite a bit before there was peace.  Smile

I cannot say enough about the Books and Things seminar. I purchased it at another seminar and watched it at home about three weeks ago. Great information. Of course I would probably pay to hear Sonya read to me, she is that good. Loved all the information on this seminar. Especially learning how many pages a day and books a term were used in Charlotte’s schools.

    Blessings
