We are about to finish Using Language Well book 3 and my son has done well with it and even enjoyed it at times. I don’t see a book 4 in print but found that Sonya has a theme for it to be Composition Sharpening. Are there any updates regarding the completion of book 4?
Book 4 is in the beginning stages of research. Until it is finished we recommend Beyond the Book Report Season 3 by Analytical Grammar.
Alternatively, you could utilize the suggestions and guidance given in Know and Tell: The Art of Narration by Karen Glass for turning written narrations into more formal essays.
