a delay in starting school this year but scheduler already in go mode

    I planned to start today.  I really did.  Every resource is planned and scheduled for a start today or later this week.  In my heart I’m not ready to begin today.  Just lots of stuff going on and after Labor day is looking much more realistic.  So how do I tell that to the CM Organizer/Scheduler?  I’m starting an anxiety about this.  LOL–but serious too.  Help.Surprised Quickly.  Please.

    I would just leave everything in the planner the way you have it and start when you’re ready.  It will be there waiting on you to check “worked on” or “finished”.  We left things in there over the summer break and now it’s waiting on us to pick up where we left off!

    Thank you MJ.  That’s so good to know.  Am I right in understanding that the things I scheduled for today will show up on the printed sheet dated Sept. 7?  There won’t be 2 weeks’ worth of assignments on that page will there?

     Only the things scheduled for that first day will show up.  The current assignments are the only ones that are displayed at any time on the page.  Only when they are checked off as finished will the next one be displayed.

    We specifically designed the CM Organizer to not stress you. Smile

    That’s why nothing gets tied to hard dates. Yes, you can schedule items to start on a certain date, but that’s just when they start showing in the daily plan. The Organizer will simply tell you what’s next when you’re ready for it. No guilt trips!
