    I will chime in and agree with the writing style thoughts re: the Ann Voskamp geography. I used it with my middle daughter, now graduated, when she was about nine. She did like doing the postcard activities, but the reading part was painful. I’m not sure why materials described as “conversational” seem to translate to meaning “patronizing” so often. (Apologia, I’m looking at you, too.) I appreciate Ann V’s ministry and philosophy in general, though.

    Now that I am more committed to CM style and materials, I’m going to be using the CM geography and Long’s geography with my youngest daughter. I’m looking forward to it!
