I’m in the process of planning 11th grade and I’m struggling with which resource to use for history. Here’s a blog post I just did…. http://reflectionsfromdrywoodcreek.blogspot.com/2012/07/blogging-out-loud-for-11th-grade-plan.html Does anyone have suggestions?
Thanks,
Melissa

DesParticipantI would say for ease of planning Stick with MFW, it’s a good solid program, add some books on exploration to the book basket and have her peruse those during book basket time.
greenebaltsParticipantThanks Des….this is actually what I’m leaning toward. Anyone else have suggestions about how you’ve incorporated U.S. History for high school?
luv2sewParticipantWe did Konos History of the World Volume 1 with my oldest two, as the U.S. History portion (Volume 4) had not been written at that time. I can tell you Konos High School is EXCELLENT. It taught my kids true research skills and gave them great project ideas to reinforce material they were learning. They loved it! I have an up and coming high schooler and I plan on using Konos History of the World Volumes with him as well.

Hope this helps!
greenebaltsParticipantThanks for the link luv2sew!
I know there are some of you here that use TruthQuest. Can anyone give feedback on what that looks like for high school, pros/cons?
Also, would love to learn more on results you’ve seen from using the SCM Modules through high school.
Thanks,
Melissa
