I am planning out year 0 right now and for character study I want to go through the fruit of the Spirit. Does anyone have specific books we can use, other than the Bible, that teach these?
2flowerboysParticipantWhat ages, boy/girl?
I have looked over the yrs for this topic and can’t come up w/ much!
Here is one book for boys that is so very special and has lovely illustrations for age 4-8.
A Little Boy After God’s Own Heart by Jim and Elizabeth George Love it!
There is also a girl’s version.

KaylaParticipantIt will be for a 5.5 girl when we start K
HSMAMAParticipantI printed out this file folder game. It’s cute and the kids like it. 🙂

TailorMadeParticipantThere’s mention of a Fruit Notebook in this thread….maybe that would be something to do?

5heartsathomeParticipantGod’s Wisdom for Little Girls by Elizabeth George would be nice to add to your study. You can buy it at Christian book stores 🙂
TailorMadeParticipantWe are studying God’s Armor from Queen Homeschool Supply. I know they have one for little girls. I’m not sure if it covers the Fruit of the Spirit. It’s worth checking out….we are enjoying the study.
Wings2flyParticipantThe character evaluation here may be of use:
We have read and enjoyed the Millers books and the companion book goes by character so you could include their stories in a different order that fits your studies:

You could use appropriate selections from A Child’s Book of Character.
